Free Virtual Book Club for Women Who Have Lost a Loved One to Suicide
A Good Book. Meaningful conversation. A place to belong.
After suicide loss, it can be hard to find spaces where you can simply be yourself—with your grief, your curiosity, your laughter, and everything in between.
Between the Pages is a welcoming space to connect with other women who understand loss while exploring stories that remind us of the many ways we can experience life.
Our books don’t have to be about grief. We’ll explore stories of connection, kindness, courage, possibility, and the human experience—with room for both thoughtful conversation and lighter moments.
More Than a Book Club
After loss, a book can offer a gentle place to rest your attention—a chance to step into another world, discover a new perspective, or find words for something you’ve felt but couldn’t express.
Reading together gives us an opportunity to:
Take a welcome pause from everyday worries and demands.
Explore curiosity and imagination, even when inspiration feels far away.
Feel seen through stories that reflect something of our own experiences.
Make meaningful connections by sharing thoughts and listening to one another.
Make room for enjoyment, alongside the grief we carry.
There’s no pressure to finish every book or have something profound to say. Come as you are, and join the conversation.

Our first book: Theo of Golden by Allen Levi
When a stranger arrives in a small Southern city, his quiet acts of generosity open the door to unexpected connections. Through the stories of the people he meets, we’re invited to consider what it means to see one another, receive kindness, and make a difference.
I’ve read this book, and its themes of generosity, connection, and being seen make it a beautiful place for us to begin.
December can feel different for everyone. Whether you celebrate the holidays or not, you’re invited to make a little room for a good story and companionship.
NOTE: Registration closes the day before each gathering. Your Zoom link will be emailed before the meeting

Our second book: Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert
As we begin a new year, we’ll explore curiosity, creativity, and the possibilities that can emerge when we give ourselves permission to try something new.
You don’t have to consider yourself creative to join the conversation. Together, we’ll reflect on what sparks our interest and how we might make room for more of it—while honoring the love and grief we carry.
Come ready to share or simply listen. There’s no pressure to make resolutions or reinvent yourself.
NOTE: Registration closes the day before each gathering. Your Zoom link will be emailed before the meeting
Come as You Are
You don’t need an insightful answer, a cheerful mood, or the perfect words. Bring your book, your favorite drink, and yourself.
There is room for grief, joy, and a new chapter—between the pages.
