Healing After Suicide™ offers professionally facilitated, closed-group support series.

We are no longer offering free, open support groups on a regular basis. After years of facilitating suicide-loss support, we have found that closed groups built around a thoughtful healing curriculum provide a more consistent, connected, and meaningful experience.

These are not new offerings. Jayne has been leading closed-group workshops for some time because this format gives women the opportunity to move beyond a single meeting and build trust, connection, and community over several weeks.

Why a Closed Group

In a closed group, the same women meet together throughout the entire series. This consistency creates a greater sense of emotional safety, trust, and belonging. You do not have to begin again with a new group each week or repeatedly explain your loss.

Over time, participants form genuine connections with women who understand the complexity of suicide loss. Being with others who recognize the guilt, anger, unanswered questions, trauma, and deep love that can accompany this kind of grief can be profoundly healing.

Support With a Healing Curriculum

Each workshop series combines compassionate peer support with evidence-informed education and practical healing tools based on Post-Traumatic Growth and the NeuroGrief Method™. Rather than meeting only to share what is difficult, we also learn gentle ways to understand the brain and body after loss, regulate the nervous system, respond to grief waves, reconnect with ourselves and others, and gradually create space for hope.

What Post Traumatic Growth Means

Post-traumatic growth does not mean that grief disappears, that the loss was meant to happen, or that you should move on. It describes the meaningful changes that can gradually emerge as you learn to live with what has happened, including greater inner strength, deeper self-awareness, renewed purpose, and a more meaningful connection to life.

Growth and grief can exist together. You can continue to miss and love the person who died while also creating a life that holds purpose, connection, hope, and moments of joy.

A Small and Private Online Community

Our workshop series meet virtually through Zoom, allowing you to participate from wherever you live. Groups are intentionally small and private so every woman has the opportunity to feel seen, heard, and supported. No recordings are made, protecting the privacy of each participant and the personal stories shared within the group.

Professionally Facilitated and Personally Understood

The series are facilitated by Jayne Madigan, a Certified Neuropsychotherapist, Suicide Bereavement Clinician, Postvention Specialist, Grief Support Facilitator, and long-term 34 year survivor of multiple suicide losses. Her approach brings together professional training, lived experience, nervous system regulation, compassionate education, and practical tools for healing after suicide loss.

An Invitation to Heal in Community

You do not have to navigate this journey alone. A closed workshop series offers time to build meaningful relationships, practice supportive tools, and grow alongside women who truly understand. Together, we create a community where grief is honored, love is remembered, and healing unfolds at its own pace.

Now, I want to share that same safe, healing space with you.
