The Pathways to Peace Virtual Retreat is designed exclusively for women who have lost a loved one to suicide. This special event offers a compassionate space to connect, heal, and learn evidence-based tools to navigate grief and trauma.
Keynote Speaker, Emma Benoit
We are honored to announce that Emma Benoit will be the keynote speaker at this year's Pathway for Peace Retreat. Emma's powerful story of resilience, healing, and hope is sure to inspire and uplift all who attend.
In 2017, Emma was a popular varsity cheerleader with a supportive family and many friends—but on the inside, she was battling deep depression and anxiety, which she had never shared with anyone. After a suicide attempt that left her with a spinal cord injury, Emma's life was forever changed. But rather than letting her experience define her in darkness, she found faith, purpose, and a new mission: to help others who are struggling with their mental health.
Emma founded liferejuvenated.org to share her journey of recovery and advocate for suicide prevention. She is also the creator of the My Ascension documentary, which chronicles her healing process while addressing the youth suicide epidemic. Through her work, Emma has touched countless lives, from her role as an Ambassador for LivingWorks to speaking at national conferences and appearing on platforms like Red Table Talk with Jada Pinkett Smith.
At the Pathway for Peace Retreat, Emma will share not only her personal story but also offer insight into one of the most difficult questions that many survivors face: Why did our loved ones die by suicide? This is a question that many families and friends of suicide victims grapple with, and Emma's perspective as a survivor herself offers a unique and compassionate understanding. She will shed light on this painful mystery, helping those who have lost loved ones begin to find answers, peace, and healing.
Emma’s message is one of hope and strength, rooted in faith, personal transformation, and a deep commitment to mental health advocacy. We are privileged to have her join us for this important event, and we invite you to experience the power of her words, as she empowers us all to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with suicidal thoughts and emotional pain.
Join us at the Pathway for Peace Retreat and hear from one of the most inspiring voices in suicide prevention. Emma’s message will leave you inspired, informed, and ready to take action in your own community
