Special Guest, Carla Fine is the author of the widely acclaimed book, No Time to Say Goodbye: Surviving the Suicide of a Loved One.
No Time to Say Goodbye is a personal story--Ms. Fine's husband, a prominent New York physician, killed himself in 1989 at the age of 43. She also interviewed more than 60 other people who lost sons and daughters, wives and husbands, fathers and mothers, sisters and brothers, friends and relatives to suicide. The book describes the different stages of mourning surrounding the suicide of a loved one and helps survivors see that they are not alone in their confusion and grief.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
9 AM: Meet & Greet with coffee, tea and light bites
10 AM: Writing as a Path to Healing Workshop with Carla Fine, can help calm the fear center of our brain, which typically runs on overdrive throughout the grieving process. Being able to write, read, and re-read can help you process painful memories as they fit into your life story.
NOON: Meditation + Gentle Yoga, for grief and loss is often more focused on movements and breathing techniques that help you process your feelings. This type of yoga practice is less about flexibility or balance but more about building awareness.
1 PM: Lunch (included)
2 PM: Emotional Freedom Techniques Workshop with Jayne Madigan, also known as “tapping”, is a clinically proven technique that can relieve symptoms of grief and make you feel calm and be at peace.
3 PM: Crystal Candle Making, have a mystical and magical quality that creates an atmosphere of positivity and relaxation. Combining the power of beautiful gemstones with mood-lifting scents, candles with crystals offer a unique and entirely elevated burning experience.
4 PM: : Healing Circle with Jayne Madigan, we’ll step out of ordinary time into a safe and accepting environment in which each of us can explore our own healing. With open hearts, we access our inner guidance to understand where the greatest healing - in body, emotions, mind and spirit - can occur.
NOTE: Dress comfortably. Yoga mats will be provided or you can bring your own.
